SWEET. I love the tectuctures and colours you've got going on here, and the linework is cool, reminds me of monoprinting. I bet this is gorgous on paper as well.

It's really refreshing and cool to see people making stuff like this the real way instead of just usuing someone elses grunge PS brush.

If art foundation's taught me anything, it's that traditional methods are:

a) Messy
b) hella fun
c) usually better than anything you can synthesize on PS

And actually, the initial drawings before I plated this baby up were monoprints :D

Heh, I'd love to do art foundation, but education lead me up the path of english and philosophy. I miss having loads of mad medias.

Mono print is an ACE technique. I love the lines you get from it, so grungy and cool.

Ohhh tell me about it :D So underrated it's not true. People tend to turn their noses up at it, deeming it 'too easy'. Bollocks is it easy.

's funny, you seem to have taken the other option I had open to me education-wise. Art or English. Hard decision.

Yeah. In the end I went for english and phil becuase my art tends to come from my story idea, so I went for something that would help me find things to write and draw about.

I miss doing non-illustration art. I might have to stock up on materials and try and do some more stuff, I'm lacking in things to work with. KT needs some acrylics again. And some printing ink becuase now I wanna do monoprints again...
